Lojsta Slott
Lojsta Castle

I dag finns här vid Lojsta 3 små sjöar. Förr utgjorde de en enda stor sjö. Vid sjöns strand låg under järnåldern en gård. På 1930-talet byggde man upp en rekonstruktion av ett järnålderhus – den s.k. Lojstahallen. På en ö mitt i sjön fanns under medeltiden en borg – Lojsta Slott. I dag syns inga spår av den bebyggelsen.
Kanske var det här som borgen Goltborch (Guldborgen) låg. Borgen kan ha varit en av de tre fästningar som fick kapitulera för Tyska Orden, en medeltida riddarorden i början av 1400-talet.
Cachen är ett s.k petrör, så medtag vänligen skrivredskap.

Today you find here at Lojsta 3 small lakes. Earlier they were one big lake. By the waterside here was a farm during the iron-age. In 1930s a reconstruction – called The Lojsta Hall – was made upon a house foundation from early Iron Age.
On an island in the middle of the sea there was a castle during the middle age – called Lojsta Slott. Nothing is left today.
Maybe it was here the castle Gultborch (Golden Castle) was placed. The castle can have been one of the 3 forts that had to surrender for “Tyska Orden” – a Middle Age knighthood – in the beginning of year 1400.
