Geocache Description:

The ‘Wandering Heroes’ series is a community series dedicated to the men, women and children of caching and a chance to learn more about the names you see on logs.

Once you have finished the series, feel free to add a well thought out cache in the spirit of the series, dedicated to another Wandering Hero.
This cache is dedicated to Steben6.

Steve and diane (no, not a typo...she doesn't capitalize the "d"!) have been caching since March, 2008. These are some serious cachers, folks! With over 5800 finds (nope, no power trails), a full D/T matrix, a best streak of 367 caching days in a row, and over 360 FTF's (and they say they aren't FTF hounds!), Steve and diane have some impressive stats. And, when it comes to trackables, these two take the cake! They have an amazing collection (which they will often bring to events to share, and have moved/discovered almost 2000 in their short geocaching career! They love puzzle caches, both solving and creating. When you are up here in the High Desert be sure to check some out!
Both Steve and diane are retired Air Force, as well as retired educators, and are now full-time geocachers. Also, both are musicians, playing in the VVC orchestra - diane on the flute and Steve on the French horn. We've been to several of the VVC concerts and have thoroughly enjoyed them.
