The Perfect Hostess Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

G.O. John and Carol: This one is gone, and can likely be found floating somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico, along with approximately 84 of our other caches. Some day we'll get down there, locate them, anchor them, and give guided tours.

This was kind of a special cache for me, and I hate to see it go, but the container would be hard to replace, and it's a long way from home. Anyway, we'll always have very fond memories of the event and ride that this cache was hidden for, even if we don't get down there to locate it soon.

Thanks to those who visited!

Geocache Description:

Want to see a perfect hostess?  Take a gander at this micro cache.  Parking is available less than 50 feet away.  Watch your step!

This cache was hidden to honor 2 perfect hostesses, Ans Wouters (Dutchlandian), and my beautiful wife Carol. The cache is hidden near the event they're co-hosting with me on September 9, 2012.  Click on "A Flashmob Tribute to John Richard Dedicoat" for more event information.

Immediately following the event, many of us will go on a nice little 21 mile bicycle ride along the nearby path to pick up about 180 caches.  That evening, we'll be meeting for another event "Great American Dining With a Dutch(landian) Twist" to celebrate our accomplishments, and to meet and greet Ans, our good friend who will be visiting from The Netherlands.  EVERYONE is welcome to attend both events. You do not have to participate in our ride.

We hope to see you at the events!
