Geocache Description:


Our Beloved Pippin. Pippin’s life started out very sad. She was an Australian Shepard that had a heart of gold but that wasn’t good enough for her owner. He wanted a working dog, but all Pippin wanted to do was play and show him love. He didn't want that so he left her locked up in a crate to die. She was covered in her own feces and in mange when she was rescued. We took her in and nursed her back to health. She played to her hearts content and didn’t only give love to us we gave it back. Unfortunately she had a short life, but the time that she did have with us was full of happiness. It all happened so quickly that we still catch ourselves forgetting she's gone. Her food dish still on the kitchen floor. We miss her so much. We hope she knows how much we love her, but I know she's running free - happily watching over us. May you rest in peace sweet Pippin. Always in our hearts. This cache is dedicated in her memory. We have a photo album in the cache with pictures of her. Please feel free to bring a picture of your pet and leave in the album. The cache is located in Cheesequake State Park. Enjoy your walk in the woods and enjoy the view but most of all, have fun.
