Geocache Description:

This series of geocaches is installed as a Girl Scout Silver Project to highlight some of the interesting and historical locations in the area.

One of the best kept secrets in Culpeper County, Spilman Park is a beautiful 27-acre passive park located in the northern end of the county just off Rt. 229. Spilman offers visitors a 100 person picnic pavilion with 4 charcoal grills, scenic graveled walking trails, a multipurpose athletic field, a tot-lot playground and a frisbe golf course. There is also a fenced historic site and portable lavatory. Please remember per county ordinance dogs must be on a leash 6' or shorter and under the handlers control at all times.
