The cache is one of several I have placed in the area.
You are looking for a camouflaged container holding a plastic box capable of holding small TB's or Coins.
The terrain is moorland and can be boggy in places, please wear suitable clothing as the weather can change very quickly up here.
The views from this area can be magnificent. On a clear day you can see Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cheshire without any difficulty or take a rest and watch the planes circle before landing at Manchester Airport.
This cache has been placed with the kind permission and approval of the local Ranger for and on behalf of The National Trust.
It is accepted that visitors to the area will treat the area with care and respect the countryside at all times.
Please Note: This is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers, flags or lights.
