I spent many days climbing around this stream and waterfall when I was a kid. There is a small bridge at the bottom where you can view the lake on one side and the falls on the other. Unfortunately, this is now private property and I'm unable to go visit. In the spring, the rushing water is amazing to watch. When my kids and I come up, we often stop at the top to listen for the rushing water. Most of my childhood was spent in this area and I'm grateful to my mom & dad for giving me such memories. This cache is a tribute to them, the wonderful childhood which they provided for myself, my siblings and all our children. Your lake house cottage will always remain one of my favorite places on earth!
As much as I would have loved hiding this cache further down the stream, I had to settle for your typical P&G. There is a nice pin for the FTF. Please bring your own pen/pencil. Parking can be a bit tricky, but with a good eye you can spot a place to pull over on the side of the road. Happy caching!!
