#22 - Gran Alacant - Clot de Galvany (Bonus) Traditional Cache

Vatvedt: I'm archiving this cache after being informed that the area is closed to the public, and it has been for quite some time. When I placed the cache, it was not surrounded by water, and you could easily walk a path to get there without disturbing anything or anyone. That is no longer the case, and since the Elche Municipality want me to archive this cache for the good of the nature and wildlife, I will of course follow their wishes.

The cache was placed with the best intentions, and for showing people this beautiful place and the big bunker. This place is now history, and that's the way it should be.

Geocache Description:

NB! Due to the placement of this cache, it's not available every day of the year. Well it is, if you'd like to wade (in mud). It's usually not available in winter because of rain and the water all around it. It usually dries up in summer, and it might be available for a few months in summer and autumn.

Please, do NOT log this as a DNF unless you actually did get to GZ and did search for it. If you couldn't get to the location, don't log it, or just log it as a note. :) Thanks!

This is a series of caches placed in the beautiful area of Clot de Glavany. The first two caches of the series were created when five friends went on a short geocache-trip to Alicante in November 2011. The rest of the series are placed by me.

All of the caches are either micro, small or regular. Most of them are (pretty large for a) micro, but there are some small and regular sized caches as well, which can hold a few small items like coins, travelbugs, etc.

All of the caches originally contained a small pencil, but it's easily lost. Bring your own pencil just in case.

NB! Some of the caches are placed in a VERY well-visited area (on beautiful days), so it might be well hidden and take care when searching and logging the cache. Be sure to put it back exactly as found. If not hidden properly, the cache might get stolen or destroyed.



Enjoy the trail and have a nice walk and maybe a picnic in this nice area.

If the caches are gone, destroyed, log full, etc. I'll replace them as soon as possible. I visit a few times a year for vacation, geocaching and maintenance. :)
