Geocache Description:

We decided to do a series of cache called "A lesson from..." to tribute the cachers who helped us out in our caching career with invaluable advice and 'lessons'. This cache should have been place months ago, but we were too busy racking up our numbers. And then the area has become saturated with "Wheels00" tributes hides. Fingers crossed this one goes through.

Early in our caching career (seems like a lifetime ago, actually only a few months) we meet this guy at an event who gave me his phone number for "phone a friend". Well, that's just odd I thought.

Lesson 1: Keep a good stock on PaF numbers and rotate who you call. This is a valuable tool to every cacher on those difficult finds.

Lesson 2: Woods caching. When we started I thought woods were a place where dumb girls went to be murdered. That's what we see in the movies, right? I was not a fan of these hides - at all. Wheels00 took us out to show us the ropes on these hides. Most important - look for geometric lines. This is a basic art concept - geometric and organic lines. Trees just don't fall into piles (also called stick-o-flage).

Lesson 3: When phoning a friend (who is the CO) make sure they know which cache you are looking for before using the clue given.

All finds must be logged to count.
