a traditional cache at a local memorable spot
This is at Darby's Corners. According to my Mom a family named Darby once lived here. Now a days it is known in this part of the country for flooding. In the spring and sometimes in the fall this corner can be inaccessable due to high water. Since the area is so prone to floods most of it is part of a state wildlife area. You can see deer and herons regularly and there are some daredevil squirrels that play chicken with the cars in the road.
State Route 66 used to make the corner here on it's way to Fayette and I know the truckers were unhappy about the long detours they had to make. All that was fixed when the Ohio Turnpike made a new exit a mile west and a mile south. They straightened out Rt 66 so only they country folk have to deal with the flooding. WAY TO GO TO HANDYMAN AND FAMILY AND TEAM MINA FOR THE FTF!!!!!!! Scrubbed container and moved it out of the possible poison ivy, not being alergic to it I never can tell what it looks like
