Each of the 33 caches is named for a Manitoba community. Most are traditional caches. Two are multi caches where the final is hanging in a shrub directly across the road from the given coordinates. (Read that last sentence again to be sure you understand.) Ten of the caches are puzzles. There are ditches to cross and they may occasionally be wet or snowy - dress accordingly. Above all, we encourage you to enjoy this beautiful area with its multitude of kettle lakes (prairie sloughs) and the critters that call them home.
The town of Boissevain is known for it's attractive outdoor gallery of murals painted on many of its buildings. The 28-foot Tommy the Turtle statue greets tourists before they head for the nearby Turtle Mountain Provincial Park or the International Peace Garden.
