Each of the 33 caches is named for a Manitoba community. Most are traditional caches. Two are multi caches where the final is hanging in a shrub directly across the road from the given coordinates. (Read that last sentence again to be sure you understand.) Ten of the caches are puzzles. There are ditches to cross and they may occasionally be wet or snowy - dress accordingly. Above all, we encourage you to enjoy this beautiful area with its multitude of kettle lakes (prairie sloughs) and the critters that call them home.
Brandon, the second largest city in the province, started as a railway town at the junction of the CP Rail and the Assiniboine River. Incorporated in 1882, the community has grown into a city that hosts a university, a major regional hospital and agriculture-related industries. The Keystone Centre provides facilities for agricultural events, trade shows, sporting events and concerts.
