Each of the 33 caches is named for a Manitoba community. Most are traditional caches. Two are multi caches where the final is hanging in a shrub directly across the road from the given coordinates. (Read that last sentence again to be sure you understand.) Ten of the caches are puzzles. There are ditches to cross and they may occasionally be wet or snowy - dress accordingly. Above all, we encourage you to enjoy this beautiful area with its multitude of kettle lakes (prairie sloughs) and the critters that call them home.
Carberry is situated in the midst of an agricultural region with the perfect soil and climate required for growing potatoes. Not surprisingly, the town is home to a McCain Foods plant that supplies frozen potato products to McDonalds restaurants across Canada and the United States.
