Geocache Description:

This Cache is located just off the "Path of the Flood Trail" in Franklin Burough. This is a difficult find, but a fun adventure to say the least.

The Path of the Flod trail is a very historical location. Upon entering the trail from the parking lot is a kiosk that tells you about the significance of the location. Once you pass the wooden gates to enter the trail from the parking lot, walk about 50 yards. Looking behind you, you will see a run down path that at one time may have accomodated ATV's. You will be looking for an Ammo Can. On a different note, if you are having trouble finding the trail head, follow the green bike-route signs. Do not go into the nearby mill entrance, but instead, keep going up the hill a few more feet until you see a sign related to 'Firemen's Park'. Turn left here if you are coming from Johnstown. If you're not up for the challenge or have given up hope, a spoiler can be found by logging in to the Gmail account pathoftheflood.trail@gmail.com. Your password will be the sixth word of the title of the blue sign located before the wooden gates at the trail head. The spolier will be located in the inbox. You can access the account through any smartphone. The cache contains a few small items and my first geocoin.
