Another cache in my cyclocaching series around Gartmorn Dam
If you do the whole series from the start you can park in Coalsnaughton. You could also park at Gartmorn Dam for this cache.
So the question is how many more caches will there be in this series. Well the honest answer is I don't know! What I can say is this. I hereby make a pledge to continue adding caches to this series whilst I have a negative karma. Caching karma is usually measured by dividing the number of times your caches have been logged by the number of caches you have logged. Personally I don't favour this method of calculating caching karma as it simply favours people who don't go caching, which just isn't very satisfying. So I instead prefer the method of subtracting all the caches you have logged from the total number of logs at your own caches. This provides a much truer measure of an individual cachers contribution to caching.
Now I should say straight off I am not preaching to cachers with negative karma that they should put out more (or some) caches to try to get to a positive karma. Indeed it is a theoretical impossibility for everyone's karma to be positive as the grand total for all cachers in the world must be zero.
My caching karma when this cache was placed was -197 so it looks like there will be a few more in this series yet.
I think the cache is sited on a structure that is related to water as you can here what sounds like water rumbling through it. I have called the cache the podium for obvious reasons
