En Alcañiz no se toca el bombo sino únicamente el tambor. Así pues, la protagonista de la escultura de Gonzalvo es la figura de un cofrade tocando solemnemente con los palillos el tambor, ataviado con el traje típico de la Semana Santa alcañizana.
