Geocache Description:

As you seek this series that spotlights a variety of flowers, don’t expect to see said flowers at the cache locations.

My grandfather loved the Grancy Graybeard shrub that grows in the Southern United States.  It will grow as high as 35 feet and bears white, silvery flowers.  Grancy Graybeards grow well in moist soil.  My grandfather would journey to the swampy area to dig up these shrubs to place in his yard and share with family members.

Congratulations to co-FIRSTs TO FIND: ejimbo4, IHFF, Leafer54, and anna lisa!!! As with any cache on Corps of Engineers property, permission must be granted. The USAC issued permit 12-50 in conjunction with this cache.
