Geocache Description:

Easy walk from the road (many access points and from most of these there is free on road parking, the closest to the cache being via the public access path between numbers 66 and 64 Chatsworth Rd). Not suitable for wheelchairs and those of us who are a little unstable on our feet. Don't forget your camera because the view from the top of this hill/sand dune is fantastic. Please note UPDATE: New fence erected but Kissing Gate not far away from the cache.

Cache is in a lock 'N' seal Tupperware camouflaged under leaves. This is one of my favourite view points and luckily not too far from my HQ. Mind your step as you approach the cache especially in spring/summer when foliage tends to hide the occasional lack of path!!
This is my first cache and I have left a wool sheep for the first finder. Why a sheep you may ask? Well when you get to the top of this hill look out towards Southport - all of the fantastic woodland etc is due to be destroyed so that Sefton council can get a few pounds for grazing sheep on it.
Please leave photos if you can (no spoilers thanks). UPDATE The fences are up and the sheep and cows, Yes, big shaggy cows, are on the loose! There are several enclosures so you may or may not bump into our ovine and bovine friends when you visit! PLEASE BE AWARE THE COWS ARE COWS NOT BULLS, THEY JUST LOOK DIFFERENT TO YOUR USUAL DAIRY VARIETY. The land is still free to public access and we have been assured by Sefton Council that there is no danger to the public.
