At sometime close to the publishing of this cache......Geocaching reached the milestone of 2,000,000 active caches around the world. This one is basically a way of THANKING all the current, past and furture reviewers for all the cache reviewing to get to this point!!!!!
Spare a thought for all those hard working reviewers out there (well most of them) that give up their spare time without reward to keep our hobby alive....
Team.Hepler has had their fair share of hic ups with our 170+ caches which didn’t quite make it having not looked at the guidelines properly and it was rejected, but lessons were learned and we are finally getting caches published with little guidance.
I’m sure reviewers now look forward to hearing from Team.Hepler :)
So remember if your new cache is rejected it’s because it doesn’t comply with geocaching guidelines, not because the reviewer doesn’t want to. They want to publish your cache so they can also go and find it. With all this grovelling hopefully this cache will get published as well......MAYBE this one will even be published as the 2,000,000 active cache!!!!!!!!
UPDATE: At time of publish....this one came in at 2,001,200ish.....It would have been closer....but got rejected the first couple times.....because of a stupid rookie mistake on my part....duhhhhhh!!! :) Well....maybe the next milestone of 3,000,000 we can get a bit closer!!!!!
CHALLENGE RULES
To qualify for this cache you must find 20 caches that have been published by 20 different reviewers
To hopefully make this challenge possible to plenty of cachers it has been limited to 20, as far as we are aware there are caches published by at least 20 different reviewers in the South East alone and if you have picked up some on vacation here or abroad that makes it even easier.
All types of caches qualify
No date restrictions at all
Anywhere in the world
In your found log you will need to list the 20 GC numbers along with the 20 reviewers, any logs that do not may be deleted.
I’m sure there will be many of you that have found many more than twenty! If you know how many different reviewer finds you have found then just for interest mention it in your log, no need to list more than twenty.
