Geocache Description:

Nano cache containing log. bring pencil and a pin to get the log out. Situated on Shaws Lane off Smallwood Hey. You can get to it from the Head Dyke end, but thats a busier less scenic route. Parking on Smallwood Hey. Requires a walk of about half a mile to get to the location.

Some years ago I was often deputed to take father in laws dog for a walk, and inevitably, given where he lived, we would end up going along Shaws Lane (complete with'doggy bag'). About half a mile down there is a ruined cottage and I was and still am fascinated by this. I would stand there and think about how I would get rid of the weeds and trees growing through the rooms, till the dog pulled on the lead.
This should be quite a subtle cache.
