According to James City County (JCC), the Warhill Sports Complex which includes Sanford B Wanner Stadium, has higher attendance than all other County Parks combined. Come out and see why. The Complex grounds are Open daily 7:00am-10:00pm.
The cache is NOT located INside any gated area. Depending on activities, extra stealth may be required. No room for anything except the log. BYOP.
No dogs are allowed within 50 feet of ball fields or playgrounds. There is a 3.5 hiking trail and a 1 mile paved trail around the outer edges of the park, and there were several muggles with their dogs on leashes headed for the trails the day we were scoping the GZ.
