The Donner Party Mystery Cache

 In honor of TheDonnerParty 5,000th find.  He also needs one more D/T grid to complete it.  We have cached alot together all over the State and Country.  This is a BOAT only cache.  Can not be accessed by land because of swamp land near cache.  located on the Cayuga Seneca Canal portion. 

To solve this puzzle you will need to know more about “The Donner Party.”  Not the ones who cache, the other Party.  Part of this you will need solve at home or on a computer.  The second part you will need to find on your way to the cache.

  I placed this on my jet ski, but anything bigger may have a problem.  Canoes and kayaks will have no problem.  A launch ramp is posted.  If you want, leave one car up stream and leave another on Oak Island in Waterloo for a seven mile paddle. If you return to the ramp it is an upstream paddle.

   Subtract the first two numbers from the second two. (Ex 2025 Add the 2 and 0 then 2 and 5. Subtract to get a number)

E= Number of the snowshoe group to survive -1

On your way to the cache, at cords N42 52.626 W076 56.130 add the numbers you see to the last three numbers on the West Cache description cords.
