Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the remains of the BlackFork Mochican Bridge. As a child (long before google), I was told that this bridge was built for the railroad, but after a quick google search I found that this bridge may have originaly served CR92/Crider Rd prior to the building of I-71. Either way it is a favorite spot for area fisherman and seemed like a great place for a cache.

Cache is small so you will need to bring your own writing utensil.

Although the path is fairly flat, wide and level for most of the hike, there are some slight elevation changes. Spring, Fall and Winter can bring flooding and/or lots of mud. Probably not entirely wheelchair/stroller friendly.

Although the cache is on MWCD property, the path is used for access to one of Ashland Counties newer parks, Esbenshade Wetlands, a 76 acre park consisting mostly of floodplain forest and marsh with limited trails. This cache has been placed with permission from both MWCD & Ashland Co. Parks.
