A large ammo can cache in our country, out in Alaska country.....
One of those long stretches of highway that needed a cache. Just past Gergie Lake on the way to Glennallen. There's an "In Memory...." marker nearby.
Park in the large pullout on the southside of the highway. You will need to hike a ways down the roadside to find the cache.
This is a country cache, filled with country type stuff. Country as in western, like Woody, a chicken, a horse, a Wapiti signature item, a lovely old-fashioned green bottle and a DVD of the Beverly Hillbillies. Alaska country stuff like a moose calf, the AK state flag, a mosquito trap, and a compass. USA type stuff, like the American Flag, and an Old Glory pin.
Use your imagination, but please only put country swag in this cache or don't trade at all. Yeah, I'm a stickler for themes, they make caching fun. Wouldn't it be cool if others followed the caching honor code?
