Utsikten Gällkleven

SE

Gällkleven är med 709 möh en av Limas högsta berg och erbjuder en otroligt fin utsikt både mot Sälenfjället och Västerdalälvdalen i norr och öster som mot Värmland i väster.

Under årets upplaga av Hot dog-eventet i Lima berättade bucher om hans dröm att placera en geocache uppe på Gällklevens topp där en av hans vänner redan hade installerat en låda med gästbok. Han tyckte dock att utläggningen och skötsel av en sådan gömma skulle överlämnas till någon av de yngre förmågor inom vår krets.

Drygt en månad senare fick jag tillfället att besöka området och genomföra en cache-kontroll på min cache 61° N -  13° E (GC29CPW). Då det fanns reservdelar till cache-underhåll i ryggsäcken, vilka inte behövdes, fortsatte jag min vandring upp till Gällklevens topp. Där njöt jag av den vackra utsikten och passade på placera ett litet PET-rör med loggbok bara några meter ifrån lådan med gästboken.

The hill Gällkleven is one the highest hills in Lima (709 m above sea level) and offers a splendid view towards the Sälen ridge and the Västerdalälv-valley in the north and east as well as towards Värmland in the west.

During this years Hot dog-event in Lima bucher mentioned his dream to place a geocache on top of Gällkleven hill where one of his friends already installed a box with a guestbook. But he decided to leave the placement and maintenance of a cache on this remote location to one of the younger folks among the geocaching community.

About one month later I had the chance to visit the area and do a check on my cache 61° N -  13° E (GC29CPW). As I didn't need the spare parts I had packed in my backpack I simply continued the walk up the hill untill i reached the top. Up there  I simply enjoyed the view and placed a little PET-tube with logbook not too far from the guestbook.
