Geocache Description:

A traditional cache with room for swaps. Requires a 15 minute walk each way from car park along a pleasant forest track. Alternative approach from the east via Golf Links Rd & stop banks.

The cache is at the base of a tree - adjacent to a Mountain Bike Track which was created by the local Bike Club in 2012. GPS coverage can be an issue so trust your instincts when you pass abeam GZ in the track.
The new cach site is out of the pine plantation which was largely wiped out by hurricane force winds in October 2013. The cache name is comes from an old street name - Beans Lane extended south of High St Rangiora but  was later changed to White St in honour of William White a local Councillor between 1878 & 1882. More Street name origins are avaialble on the Waimakariri Library website.
