mankybadger: Cache has gone... I no longer drive past here on my way to work so maintenance will be an issue.

The cache - it's a traditional "sandwich box" big enough for trackables and small goodies. Thanks to Jose Fernandez for supplying the cache materials.
If you look Godmersham up on the Internet you'll find that it described as a scenic village and civil parish in the Ashford District of Kent. It's on the river Stour where it cuts through the North Downs midway between Ashford and Canterbury in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are walks through the area along the North Downs Way, and some spectacular views to be had from the overlooking Kings Wood.
If you drive through Godmersham on the A28 you'll not even notice the place. From the main road all you'll see is a stretch of road; which is a shame.
Whilst you're looking for this cache don't park in the obvious place. Park up off of the main road and spend a little while walking around this beautiful part of the world. But don't bother looking for the village pub; there isn't one. How unusual is that ?!?!
The cache - it's a traditional "sandwich box" big enough for trackables and small goodies. Thanks to Jose Fernandez for supplying the cache materials. It's inside a camo bag, and it should be easy enough to find. But I'm afraid that you won't reach it from a wheelchair. I'm sorry about that. If it's any consolation I have put out other caches which are wheelchair friendly.
Watch out for muggles. There shouldn't be many about, but periodically they may congregate near the cache. You'll understand why.
