Each of the 33 caches is named for a Manitoba community. Most are traditional caches. Two are multi caches where the final is hanging in a shrub directly across the road from the given coordinates. (Read that last sentence again to be sure you understand.) Ten of the caches are puzzles. There are ditches to cross and they may occasionally be wet or snowy - dress accordingly. Above all, we encourage you to enjoy this beautiful area with its multitude of kettle lakes (prairie sloughs) and the critters that call them home.
Onanole is a small community located at the southern entrance to Riding Mountain National Park. While the area is rife with attractive woodlands, bogs, marshes, and lakes, it is more often recognized as a summer community that triples its population when the weather heats up.
