A clear plastic tupperware container. Take the gravel road on the left side of Northern Trails Convience next to the Hawkes Bay Water Tower. Follow this road across the bridge, to find a boardwalk along the river. The walk is only about a minute so it should be a quick find.
There are a lot of cabins at the ponds in this area, including Milton's families Cabin. There have been lots of times here, making the cabin Milton's favorite place to be, and has seen lots of family, friends, and visitors from all over. The bridge will show you a beautiful view of the famous Torrent River. Just after the bridge you will find a boardwalk on the right, take this and walk along the river for about a minute.
This cache can be found in winter with shoeshoes or skis to take the trail, but snow may be heavy and the find will require digging.
We tried to include something for everyone in this cache. The original cache contents were a Bouncy Ball, Stickers, Playing Cards, Erasers, Guitar Pick, Emergency Candle, Hair Buckles, Glitter Nail File, Dinky, Nametag, Modeling Clay, Salmon Flies, NL Bookmarks, Bendy NL Pencil, & a Puppy ball. It also includes a FTF prize of a certificate, Newfie shotglass, NL keychain, & Parks Canada Loonie.
