Each of the 33 caches is named for a Manitoba community. Most are traditional caches. Two are multi caches where the final is hanging in a shrub directly across the road from the given coordinates. (Read that last sentence again to be sure you understand.) Ten of the caches are puzzles. There are ditches to cross and they may occasionally be wet or snowy - dress accordingly. Above all, we encourage you to enjoy this beautiful area with its multitude of kettle lakes (prairie sloughs) and the critters that call them home.
Uno was a store and post office located along the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway from 1911 to 1970. The place was named by railway officials following an alphabetical sequence. Today it is marked by a small sign in the RM of Miniota.
