This cache is placed just a short distance out of your way when you are heading for the SRT. The historic Slocan Rail Trail is a non-motorized trail that is great for walking, biking, snow-shoeing, and x-country skiing - and of course geocaching. The total trail is 50 kms long with parking available at various access points along the trail.
For those that don't want to hike/bike the trail in both directions there is bus service available except on Sundays and Statutory holidays.
You are looking for a medium size lock n' lock. It is full of little logbooks. Feel free to take a few with you when you are heading out to explore the SRT just in case you come across a wet log along the way. If you don't use them you can leave them in caches at the other end of the trail.
