Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDS!  It is within two miles of the posted coords. Please do NOT go at night so as to avoid disturbing nearby residents. Please do NOT unclip container - end screws off/on.

I love dogs and we often had multiple dogs at one time. I prefer big dogs - German Shepherds are my favorite - and I have placed a series of 10 caches to honor some of the dogs whose lives I have been privileged to share. In order to claim this challenge, you must first find all 10 of my "My Dog..." caches:  GC3VBR4 (Maverick), GC3VBQW (Ranger), GC3W637 (Smokey), GC3VBRE (Sarge), GC3W63B (Baby), GC3W63F (Ebony), GC3VBRX (Tiger), GC3VQ5N (Paix), GC3VBRK (Spunky), and GC3XDMW (Jake).  There were numbers in the lids of all the containers, you will need them and, hopefully, you paid attention to my little blurbs about the dogs. (I'm a former teacher and I'm not above a little pop-quiz!) Which dog was given to me by my high school boyfriend? That number is A. Which dog became a K-9 for a police department? That number is B. Subtract Ranger's number from Smokey's number. The answer is C. Which dog is the only one to geocache with me? That number is D. Which dog liked to chase jack rabbits, but could not catch them? That number is E. Who was Lionus' mom? That number is F. Which dog led my pony around? That number is G. The number that belongs to all of the full-blooded dogs of my favorite breed. That number is H. The number of the dog that waited for us on top of his dog house is I. Spunky's number minus Baby's number equals J. The final can be found at N 45* AB.CDE   W 122*FG.HIJ Remember, this was meant to be a walking series, there is no parking directly at GZ or at the immediate trailhead.  Bonus Hint:  if you were going to do the entire "circuit" I would suggest parking at Westlake Park and start with Paix and end with Tiger so as to have minimal backtracking for the final. The difficulty and terrain ratings are for the entire series - having to find 10 caches and answer the questions. The actual difficulty for the final is a 1.5 and the terrain is a 2. FTF prize is a geocaching ballcap, a spork, a "Wag More, Bark Less" sticker, and a trophy! Directions to the FTF prize are in the cache.
