Detta är #2 i en fristående serie traditionella cacher vid de större badplatserna i Alingsås.
Övriga cacher i serien är Playa Mjörn, Gräfsnäs samt Lygnared.
This is # 2 in an independent series of traditional caches on the theme “Beaches in Alingsås”.
The other caches are Playa Mjörn, Gräfsnäs and Lygnared.
Det finns gott om stora och små sjöar i området runt Alingsås. Kultur- och fritidsförvaltningen ansvarar för tio badplatser runt om i kommunen.
Badbryggor finns på åtta badplatser i kommunen medan ett par kommunala badplatser saknar badbryggor. Inför varje säsong kontrolleras badbryggorna av dykare som samtidigt söker av botten.
Vid Lövekulle badplats finns en brygga och toaletter . Sopkärl och grillplats finns också i anslutning till badet.
I närheten av badet finns Lövekulle campingplats med kiosk. Lövekulle badplats har stora gräsytor och klippor vid badet.
Badet vid Lövekulle är registrerat som EU-badplats av Alingsås kommun och badvattenkvalitén bedöms som utmärkt.
There are plenty of large and small lakes in the area around Alingsås and Alingsås kommun is responsible for ten beaches around the municipality.
At the Lövekulle beach there is a jetty. There are public toilets and waste bins nearby as well as a barbeque area.
Near the beach you will also find the Lövekulle camping ground with all the usual camping facilities available.
