Park in Kilfinane and pick up the Failte to Kilfinane cache, if desired. Follow a walking trail marked with green arrows. (The trail as it leaves Kilfinane follows the Ballyhoura way with its yellow arrows)
On a clear day there are great views of Slievereagh and across the Golden Vale.
The cache is close to a rock pool which was used as a children's paddling pool. (Further upstream there is a deeper pool). The cache is a smallish, camoflauged, plastic box. NOTE; The terrain rating is accurate for wet conditions; After a dry spell it is reduced to 1.5 or 2 THE BRIDGE IS UNDER REPAIR AT THE MOMENT BUT THE CACHE IS STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL HIDE; EVEN IF THIS HAS MOVED 1 M!!!
