Stumped By The Sturgeon Traditional Cache

This cache was originally hidden as part of the Straits Area Geocachers 2012 Fall Fest.  The best parking is behind Wilson’s Rivers Edge restaurant.  Walk through the fence opening and down the stairs to the river. Follow the river through the woods to the cache.  The cache is located in a cedar grove and signal is a bit spotty, so I’ve included a strong hint.
