Geocache Description:

Please note:  This cache is designed as a diorama.  Please do not pull anything loose.  The only loose item in the container will be the log.  This is part of the A to Z critter series.  All containers are medium size, but all the logs will be small, micro, or nano.  Bring your own pen and tweezers.

Dolphins are marine mammals closely related to whales and porposes.  There are almost forty species of dolphin.  They vary in size from four feet, ninety pounds to 30 feet and 11 tons.  Dolphins are found world wide, mostly in shallower seas, and are carnivores, eating mostly fish and squid.  Dolphins are among the most intelligent animals and their often friendly appearance, an artifact of the "smile" of their mouth line, and seemingly playful attitude have made them very popular in human culture.
