Geocache Description:


Antire Valley County Park. Is this really a park? According to Chief Park Ranger Nesbit it is. Years ago this was home to a dirt track for mini-bikes. Since that closed, this area hasn't seen much use. A portion of the property has been leased to the county police department for a firing range. The firing range is very clearly marked with fencing and signs. Trespassing onto the firing range may get you arrested......or shot.

Please note the parking coordinates I have provided. This is the best place to park. GZ is an easy walk from here. Do not attempt to drive to the cache.

The park is bordered to the north by Bussen Rd, to the east by Antire Rd, to the south by a creek then a PRIVATE dirt road, to the west by the firing range. All park rules apply. Daylight hours only please.

As the title says, you are looking for a film container. This one is big enough for small swag or trackables.

If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy. Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed.
