This is the first in a small series of 5 caches placed around Gowhole and have been released to coincide with gathering at the Soldier Dick. There is limited parking nearby so its suggested that parking in done Furness and then walk down Station Road. Extra care should be taken on the road near this one. The series can be done with small children but can not be completed with buggies or wheelchairs as it involves a few steps and a couple of stiles.
This cache has been placed near a sharp corner and whilst there is pavement available care should be taken with children. After finding the cache take the steps nearby to progess onto the next in the series at the next road bear right for a few feet before climbing the steps on the right hand side of the road and througth the gate into the field beyond. The container is a 35mm film cannister with room only for the log so BYOP.
