A peaceful cache on a tiny island near Murter, home to a lighthouse and the quiet rhythm of the sea. Reachable only by boat or kayak, this spot invites you to slow down, explore, and enjoy the view. Leave something behind, take a deep breath, and let the moment stay with you.
Off the coast of Murter Island lies Prisnjak, a small island with a lighthouse, surrounded by clear blue sea and open sky. It’s a quiet, simple place — no roads, no noise — just the sound of waves, wind, and time moving a little more slowly.
This cache invites you to pause. To step away from the rush and enter a space where there’s nothing to do but be present.
Prisnjak is only accessible by private boat, kayak, or paddleboard, and only when the weather allows. The lighthouse has stood here since 1886, watching the sea and keeping silent company with those who visit.
Access:
Private boat, kayak, or paddleboard from Murter or nearby.
Conditions:
Rocky shores and open sea — plan carefully and wear good shoes.
Only attempt this if you’re confident in your return journey and if the sea conditions are safe.
Some geocaches are about the challenge.
Others are about the place.
This one is about the feeling.
Calm. Still. A little removed from the world — just enough to remind you what silence feels like.
Welcome to Prisnjak.
