Ross River Geo Caching Power Trail - Townsvilles First Letterbox>
Townsville is blessed with a great river, and some fantastic cycling/walking trails that follow almost the entire length of the river.
What better way to encourage cachers to get out and explore these trails but to line them with caches to form Townsville's first Power Trail. Caches will be within 1 - 5 meters from the trail so they will be accessible to all including wheel bound (chair or pram).>
Caches will be various types depending on the hide and will be between 161 and 200 meters apart. Found a number of Letterbox Caches while out of town recently, and decided that Townsville needed at least one.>
This Letterbox cache does not have a genric logbook. Instead, it has a number of blank postcards. Choose one that you like, and write a postcard to the Monkeys. It can be about your travels to discover the cache or completely fictional. Don't forget to stamp your post card.>
Then place your post card in the delivered container provided and your done.>
The only trick is getting into the letterbox. Sometimes, cachers represent numbers with letters. C+2M are no exeption.
