Moottoriaiheinen mysteeri Halikon asemaseudulla.

Mystery cache at Halikko Asema that based to motors.

Moottorit on jostain syystä aina olleet lähellä sydäntä jo pienestä pitäen. Aikani Euroopan ja joskus myös Japanin laitteiden kanssa touhuttuani tie veikin sitten Amerikan mantereelle. Ensi kosketukseni V8:n maailmaan sain joskus 90-luvulla.

Ensimmäinen kasini taisi olla FOX mustang, mutta eipä siihen mielenkiintoa kauaa riittänyt. Toinen taloon tullut kasi oli taas mustangi ja tällä kertaa samalla koneella varustettu 5.0 litran HO 90-luvun puolesta välistä. Ko. koneen tehot olivat varmaan aikoinaan hyvät, mutta siirryttäessä 2000-luvulle jäivät auttamatta pieniksi. Voisin jaaritella iät ja ajat modifikaatioista, mutta ne eivät nyt tähän mysteerin auta mitenkään. Mainitaan nyt, että ahtimella mentiin ennen kuin lopulta sen poistoon laitoin.

Itse pysyin pitkäänkin Fordeissa, mutta tuttavapiiri touhusi taas pääasiassa Chevyjen kanssa. Heillä oli jos jonkinnäköistä kulkinetta firebirdeistä camaroihin ja aina corvetteen asti. Taitaa niitä vieläkin löytyä tallien uumenista. Näitä kaikkia ajopelejä yhdisti yksi asia, niiden voimanlähde. Kaikissa oli samat lohkot eri variaatioilla jota chevy käytti iät ja ajat autoissaan. Eli tuo 5.7 litrainen kasi.

Myös veneilyn maailmasta tuli aikoinaan kasit tutuksi. Veneissähän kasi on hyvinkin tyypillinen voimanlähde vielä nykypäivänäkin. Veneiden kautta sain myös ensi kosketukseni isolohkojen maailmaan ja ensimmäinen vesikulkineeni olikin varustettu sellaisella. Tyyppi oli muistaakseni Mercruiserin 7.4 litrainen bensakrematoorio joka tuotti n.330 hevosen tehon.

Autoja tuli ja meni, mutta aikani näiden kanssa touhuttuani tuli viimein se päivä vastaan, kun harrastus alkoi pikkuhiljaa hiipumaan. Harrastui jäi, mutta tulihan sitä vielä ainakin kertaalleen tutustutta kasiin ja tällä kertaa kyseessä oli Mopar. Talliin ilmestyi 2000-luvun kulkine, jonka moottoritilaan oli eksynyt ko. tekele. Tällä kertaa litroja löytyi 5.7 ja koneen päällä luki hemi.

Ai niin. Ameriikan pojat muuten useasti puhuvat jostain aivan muusta kuin litroista. Ja kätköpaikalla saatat jopa nähdä vilauksia kaseista…

(ENG) Motors had always been close to my heart beginning from the childhood. I use to modify European cars and even sometime the Japans too, but after time road take me to the American land. I get my first touch to the V8:sta at the middle of 90:s.

I think my first 8 was FOX mustang, but I wasn’t so interested about that. The second one was also mustang, but this time it was from middle 90:s and equipped with the same engine as 5.0 liter HO. This engine powers was maybe average when it was manufactured, but now days they start to look poor. I can talk about all modifications whole day, but they don’t help about this mystery. Maybe I just say that I run it with charger before I let it go.

For a long time I stayed at Fords, but my friends use to modify Chevys. They had all kind of vehicles from firebirds to camaros and even to corvettes. I think someone still have something in their carages. There was one thing that was common to those cars. They all had the same engine that Chevy used for a long time. That engine was the 5.7 liter V8.

Also from the boat world, I get familiar with the eights. V8 is more typical engine in boats that it is in cars. From the boats I also get my first touch to the big blocks and my first boat was equipped with 7.4 liter Mercruiser that produces about 330hp.

Cars come and goes and after a time I get little bored and leaved this hobby to the history. But after a time I get one V8 more and this time it was a mopar. Car appears to my garage and it was equipped with 21:th century 5.7 liter engine. At the top of engine read hemi.

BTW. American boys use to talk about something else than liters. And at the cache site you may even see some V8:s.
