Geocache Description:

A gambol around Grittleton. Some are accessible to wheelchair users. There are a couple of stiles and footpaths across fields. Part of your gambol will take you along the Fosse Way, a Roman road which starts in Exeter and travels diagonally across England to Lincoln. The village is in Wiltshire in the area of South Cotswolds, an area of outstanding beauty.

Our quest turns back now towards the village and we notice that we have actually come to the village boundary for Littleton Drew. The road you are on can be busy, not least with huge tractors. The school in Grittleton also increases traffic at certain times of the day.

A recent famous son of Grittleton is musician Jamie Cullum. Jamie went to the local school and has, in adulthood, gained a great reputation amongst musicians. See link
