Geocache Description:

Sonar, the Sultan of Super-Sonic Sound!

Bito Wladon, aka Sonar, was born to deaf parents, in the eastern European nation of Modora, which had been purposely cut off from the rest of the world by a mad ruler. Bito was a super patriot who wanted to bring his homeland to greatness. No matter who he has to destroy to accomplish his mission. He later creates a "nucleo sonic motor" which uses sound as an energy source. He later creates his main weapon, the tuning fork gun, whose super sonic vibrations altered human brain waves to create various mental effects. Eventually, he becomes commander of Modora's armies, and with that he also gained diplomatic immunity, which allows him to get away from being incarcerated for his crimes.

Welcome to Sound View Park
A beautiful gem of a park, servicing the Soundview and Clason Point neighborhoods of the Bronx. Once a seriously dangerous area (many times been listed as the murder rate capital of NYC), due to being rocked by the crack epidemic of the late 80's and early 90's.
I came here once a long time ago, and hadn't ever come back because of how bad it was. Today, it's a totally different park from what it was. Soundview as a neighborhood, has made an amazing turn around. Soundview Park has been totally renovated by PlaNYC. It looks beautiful, and still has more "beautication" to go.

The cache is a small, camo'ed zip lock screw-top container hidden a few yards off the bike path. Bushwhacking is NOT required. Please make sure to watch out for muggles, and re-hide well.

FTF goes to Behistun @ 10:40am
