The history of bowling dates back to ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire. Bowling as we recognize it today was first established with standardized rules in New York City on September 9, 1895. There are varying forms of bowling on a small scale and mostly in New England and Canada of ‘Nine-Pin’, ‘Candlepin’, ‘Duck-Pin’ & ‘Five-Pin’.
This is a series of caches where you will need to gather the clues in the 6 traditional caches to acquire the necessary info to solve this puzzle. I’ve used common terms from bowling for these caches.
Split is when after the first ball is thrown, the remaining pins standing on the lane are located apart from each other. On old paper score sheets, we circled the pin count of the first ball, on the electronic score sheets, there is an S put in front of the first ball pin count.
