The history of bowling dates back to ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire. Bowling as we recognize it today was first established with standardized rules in New York City on September 9, 1895. There are varying forms of bowling on a small scale and mostly in New England and Canada of ‘Nine-Pin’, ‘Candlepin’, ‘Duck-Pin’ & ‘Five-Pin’.
This is a series of caches where you will need to gather the clues in the 6 traditional caches to acquire the necessary info to solve this puzzle. I’ve used common terms from bowling for these caches.
Strike is when all 10 pins are knocked down with the first ball. It is marked on the score sheet with an "X". When scoring, the bonus is that the next two balls pin count is added to the 10 for the strike.
You are looking for a lock-n-lock in Hoffman Park. Be sure to collect the clue from the cache. Be advised that deer hunting is allowed during the fall so wear appropriate clothing.
