It's Harvest Time. Dauphin is an agricultural community and the city is home to many agribusinesses that support our local producers. Big machines like this are common and help producers get the crop off the ground. We use GPSr's to find treasures hidden in the bushes but farmers also rely on GPS technology everyday in their equipment
Container only contains a logbook so bring a writing stick. There is quite a bit of metal in the area so the coordinates may bounce around. No need to enter any buildings. This is a cache that was put out for the Dauphin Canadian Tire Cachefest 2012 hosted by Tourism Dauphin. This is Dauphin's first ever geocaching event! All materials for the caches were supplied by Canadian Tire and were built and put out by local cachers: jabbywockyz, saunderl and pkldbutterfly. All caches have a logbook and may contain a pencil for the small caches. Come and discover what Dauphin has to offer thru geocaching.
