We become maintainers for the fourth time with this cache! Look for a duct tape-wrapped plastic bottle with a red lid and a hook. We're also just using our phone to detect coordinates, so please let us know accuracy. Please replace exactly as found.
"Tea and a pill," my daughter says, when it's time to chew up her gummy multivitamin. A series of caches to honor her favorite saying of the moment, and the lovely small gardens we've stumbled across while biking to summer activities. I'm not sure where she picked up the saying, but it sure sounds like a line from one of her 1950s Disney movies.
The garden isn’t really sunken as the riverbank behind it. There’s a great tree to the west of the garden, raised beds of flowers, benches, and a great open middle. Stealth is super required because the park is surrounded by bungalows. The river is pretty busy, but you can’t be seen from the water while hunting. Recommended to find this in the morning when neighborhood kids may likely be busy with something else other than hanging out at the park. :-)
As of Sept. 19, 2014, container is a replacement. LARGER clear plastic container with blue cap, new logbook, three pencils, LOTS OF SWAG, and TWO TRACKABLES!!! It is stuck to host with the help of local camo. PLEASE REPLACE WITH CARE.
I'm mainly concerned for the trackables, please come visit and move them along! They're awesome, loyal companions! Elephant has been with us since Aug. 29, 2012 (see here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=a446ba54-206c-4840-9674-db4974bae5af) and Flipper has been with us since Aug. 11, 2012 (see here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=9565fc90-eb54-42f6-8e6c-6e0a3225d0ed) Flipper from Michigan, but back and forth between Illinois and Michigan, and Elephant just in Illinois... because I forgot I retrieved him. So sorry! But please come visit!
