Geocache Description:

The Bronte Moor Walk, a series of 15 caches plus a bonus, which takes you around an area steeped in Bronte history. The walk is less than 4 miles long but the terrain is varied with some steep gradients.

If you need to take a rest as you come up this steep hill, pause and admire the lovely view (it's a good excuse for a breather!). There may be lots of sheep guarding the cache.

Middle Intake farm is one of several early 19th century farms which line the valley sides above Lower Laithe Reservoir near Stanbury. This is a laith house - with barn and house under a single roof.In 2006 the firm responsible for disposing of Yorkshire Water's surplus assets, applied for planning permission to renovate the house and erect a 6-7m high wind turbine, The application was rejected.
