This area is part of the Terra Cotta Conservation off Tenth Line. At the parking area (N 43 42.924 W079 58.242) you will see a gate and a trail. The conservation area near the road is narrow but expands as you go eastward. That being said, please respect the private properties on each side. If you stick to the trail at the beginning you will be fine.
I came across this area while hiking and looking for rock structures. A short walk in I was surprised to see an abandoned structure and wondered what was the history behind it. The critters pretty much took over it and I wonder when and why it was abandoned and what use it had. I caution anyone wanting to go inside as it has been deteriorating over the years so not sure how safe the structure is. So if any cachers know anything about this, please comment. Now for the nasty cache I placed to lure you to this area. You are looking for a micro cache inside a larger cache. I rated it a 5 in difficulty due to the fact that I think for some it will take time to find. There are a lot of fallen trees in the area which make great seats to take a break. Please leave cache exactly as you found it for others to enjoy. Happy Geocaching!
