The cache is placed near the Scary Lake and the shelter of the same name high in Rila Mountain. It is a small plastic box with some items for trade. Please make sure you closed it well after finding, so it remains dry during the winter season.
The Scary Lake is the biggest and the highest one of the Prekorechki Lakes in the Malyovitsa Part of Rila Mountain. It takes place 2465m above see level at the bottom of the north slopes of Smal Kupen Peak (2661m), Middle Kupen Peak (2724m) and Big Kupen Peak (2731m) and is 200m long, 75m wide and 2m deep. The Scary Lake has its name because of the spectacular acoustic in the area in times of storm-an experience that we hope you won't make. ;) The shelter is a very cosy and romantic place in all seasons, but you should take in consideration some facts about it. It's capacity is 16 people and there is no electricity, food or drinking water in it. You can find a water source 30m from the entrance under some stones near the sign "ВОДА". You can reach this magic place only after a few hours trekking in Rila Mountain. Take some warm clothes and good mood and cache on! Don't forget to take care about the nature and keep it clean! Cache in, trash out!
